Submission to Health Canada Wind Turbine Noise and Health Study, 2012
I am so tired and so upset about the 512 feet turbines going right behind our house in Grand Bend. I have showed my MPP Lisa Thompson the draft of the 4 wind turbines right behind our house and she investigated the draft that shows where these turbines are going to be placed right behind our house . Lisa Thompson our MPP wasnt to happy with what she found out. Lisa Thompson our Mpp sent Criss Bently a letter about how these turbines are in constrained areas and another is less the 550 meters away from our house. Is that not against the law to have them less then 550 meters awy from our house???????? Yet you people are letting NorthLand Power (Neegan burnside) do this . Mr. Gordon Potts who from north land Power (neegan burnside) seems to think this is fine.They just put them anywhere they want. On our Draft it shows that the noise level goes well over our house. How do you think this will effect our health, our sleeping at night. What about the road they are going to put just less then 25 feet away from our house.What about that. What about my husbands electrical job. Every one is selling their homes., now people are leaving and we have expirenced a loss of jobs. We had built our brand new house, our dream home that we built, that we worked hard for to build. Well no one wants to buy our house with 512 feet turbines behind it. Especially with the noise level going well past our house and the road that is right beside it, as a matter of fact almost on top of our house. this also has lowered the value of our house. They dont even follow the rules. You are saying this is safe. Why are you letting them do this????? This is not safe and it is a hazaed to our health.Everyone is fighting, Neighbours against Neighbours, Families against famlies. The community of Grand cove is less then a kilamitor away and no one cares about these older people.Signs are being stolen. Petitions are being stolen.People are threatening people.
1- The design team does not included the major scientest and physisians who have reached expert status on the subject.
2- We need to call for a moratorium on all pending projects of wind turbines, untill results of health studies are concluded
